again, i can't believe it's the

8th of January.

Happy New Year!! 

Life is good here,

had a great holiday season.

And so far a blessed New Year.

I'm headed to Arizona on Saturday,

for a photography convention with

my mother and sister-in-law.

Should be a good time.

Hopefully I will learn a thing or two

about photographs. 

If not,

maybe a thing or two about my

mother-in-law

or

sister-in-law.

LOL.

Is there anything I don't know about them.

I'm sure.

I've been busy with hair and photographs

This is me photographing this little girl.

She had the biggest, darkest eyes.

So cute. 

Zabe is good.

Still hilarious.

His favorite things to say are,

"oh yeah, ok"

"later"

"ok, zabe"

"love, love"  which means I love you.

today auntie ann told him to go

get a kleenex from the bathroom.

i was doing hair in the salon

and when I turned around he

was walking with a huge wad of

toilet paper still attached to the holder

in the bathroom, needless to say,

he was just doing what he was told.

he's a riot.

life is good for bud too,

still working in this frigid weather.

brrr, something i could never do.

I got a new little camera in my life. 

I love the tiny little thing.

SO easy to throw in my purse,

or pick it up and take a few pictures

quickly.

In JPEG,

which means

no converting,

no exporting.

SO easy.

Mind you I did nothing to these pictures,

just uploaded and here they are.

I have a bunch from X-mas to post,

but first wanted to show Zabe's

finger painting projects from today.

As you can see he didn't want to get to "dirty" he was pretty neat while painting.  How cute are those chubby fingers?!?!

Concentrate.

Oh look, there's the beloved sippy.

"OH, dirty mommy, dirty."  He's definitely not taking after his father.

Here he is "writing" his name.  Z.A.B.E, they all consist of a little line.  He also "wrote" mommy and daddy.  What a riot he is.

So glad to be back at home with him.

Arizona was fabulous.

Had a great time with the in-laws.

Learned a lot about photography.

And realized, I really enjoy nice, sunny, warm weather.

Stay warm. 

Zabe finally figured out how to pronounce his name correctly!!  He's always said Babe.  Then yesterday I was trying to get him to watch me while I said ZZZZabe, and then he said it.  He says Zebra right so I knew he had it in him.  It's pretty cute to hear him finally say it right.  

He's doing well, he's got a little cold right now but no biggie, last night he woke up a few times before I went up stairs, he would fuss and cough.  So I went up gave him some water and told him it was time to go back to bed.  To be completely honest when I was down stairs I was wondering what I was suppose to do.  Do I get him up, do I rock him?  What am I suppose to do.  I realized I've been spoiled.  He loves his sleep so when he doesn't feel good, I'm not really sure what to do.   It obviously worked and he slept all night.  He actually slept from 7:30p.m. until 10:00a.m.  He's so good!

She was a doll!!

These last pictures are of Mike and Erica, an ADORABLE couple who's wedding I will be shooting in August.  I loved how you could feel the love between the two of them.  So happy.
