Abbie, Bud and Zabe

The baby of 7 in our family is 18 today.  18!  Does not seem possible.  Happy Birthday Sonny, and as Zabe would call him Uncle Lukah. 

And also Aunt Lori, Happy Birthday to a very special aunt.  We love you.

Lori's here on the left.  Ann is looking somewhere no one else is not.  Shelly looks adorable.  Mom has her handy dandy cup of winning coins.  I'm tammy the tomato this day.  (oh, honey)  and Ash also looks adorable.  I hurt, I really, really hurt in the picture.  Vegas, '08 baby.

Zabe turns 2 in 10 days.

I turn 27 in 15 days. 

Z is 2. 

He loves his life.

He really does, I asked him today.

THINGS A 2 YEAR OLD DOES ON HIS BIRTHDAY.

-Wake up to Don, Lori and Ashley.

-Go to the John Deere dealership and pick out a few tractors.  (Say this sentence in your best redneck voice.)

-Take a 3 hour nap, and be woke up by mommy.

-Go to the farm.

-Play with cousins.

-Eat favorite meal of organic hamburger and ketchup.....and of course a bountiful helping of fresh fruit and green vegetables.

-Play with new Skid Loader, and combine.

-Read new books.

-Drink extra milk.

-Blow out candle and enjoy frosting on cake.

-Bond with mom and dad, and a couple favorite aunties.

-Get a tattoo, like mommy and auntie Shell's. :)  It's fine....he turned 2.

-Suck on blankie, on couch until mom thinks it's time for bed.  9:30p.m.

Great day.  Many more happy birthdays Zabe.  We'd be bored without you, oh how our lives have changed.  We love you soooooooo much.  XOXO

Things a 27 year old does on her birthday...

I. Slept. in. I didn't roll out of bed until 10:30.

I started my morning out with a cup of coffee as I do every morning. I did however, treat myself to an extra splash of creamer.

To go along with my usual morning routine, I ALWAYS take time for myself...ya know, a little ME time. I sat down and caught up on some mags, People, Time, This Old House, US Weekly, and of course Readers Digest.

Just like every other morning, I drew myself and Bud a nice warm bath in our Jacuzzi tub, 'er I mean----- myself.... I drew myself a bath... Man, that thing is relaxing. I usually only stay in for about a half hour but today I think it was over an hour before I got out!

Then I went shopping. Mom and Ann went too. We first went to look at sinks for Mom. Boy, is that fun, sink shopping on your birthday. JK Mom, I was fiiiiinnnneeee. We went to Barnes and Noble too, I need a new planner for the upcoming year. I just couldn’t decide which one to get tho... one with cats or horses on the cover. I got them both.

Shelly had to work today. I really wished she could have been with today. It's just not the same when she is not along, it's almost like it's not even really fun.

We had to hurry home from shopping because I was meeting Bud at home. I wanted to be home early enough so we could get out hunting. I have really gotten into bow hunting this year. I love the feeling of walking through the woods with a bow on my back. I am looking for a nice deer to mount in the living room. Speaking of hunting, I can hardly wait for our trip out to South Dakota for Elk Hunting next month.

We had a snack when we got home, Bugles and some of Wisconsin's finest cheese curds. Yummy.

What a 27 year old actually does on her birthday.

Thank you Shelly, for being my guest blogger today letting everybody know what you think I did for my 27th!!  Your hilarious!  And to think, my best friend (Michelle) thought I was just being sarcastic. :)

WHAT A 27 YEAR OLD ACTUALLY DOES ON HER BIRTHDAY.

-Yes, yes, I do Love my life.

-Yes, yes, I love birthdays.  I even had to remind myself a couple times it was my birthday today.

-Wake up, 6:15, work on some wedding photos.

-Enjoy some coffee.

-Read some blogs that I want to catch up on.

-Take a shower, not a Jacuzzi, the boy's going to be up soon.

-Wish Shell was off to celebrate 27th with us.  

-Have some random man ask if you want any steaks.  Proceed to tell him you have an organic farm.

-Shop with Ann and mom, look for some faucets and kitchen sinks that will be perfect in moms new remodeled kitchen.

-Miss older sissy Shelly while she's slaving away at work.

-Lunch at Whistle Binckey's (sp) NUMMY!  Have the waiter ask if you need spankings. 

-Shop for some new attire, which always seems to turn into shopping for the ever so growing 2T toddler that wears 5T-7 clothes.  (his stats coming next week)

-Try to find a planner for 2009, not sure if the cat or horse or fits me better.  (Couldn't figure out which one fits me better so got neither)

-Shop some more.

-Still miss Shelly.

-Time flies.

-Respond to text and phone calls wishing you a happy birthday. (Love that, thank you all)

-Run some errands for son's 2nd birthday party.

-Pick up some Pizza.

-Wish Shell would be home tonight to celebrate, even though she's coming tomorrow.

-Get some beer to celebrate own birthday tonight and tomorrow night.

-Shell's got to be there!  Or not.

-Enjoy talking to friends and family after a perfect day off.

-Work on some wedding photos.

-(She should be coming soon!)

-Smile and thank the good Lord for the wonderful people, friends and family I have in my life.  Thank you all for a great b-day!!! 

-Breathe a sigh of relief for a happy healthy birthday.  Amen.
