So today Bud rose at about 5:30, he was so excited to til our back yard, excuse me our garden. He couldn't wait to do this. He got the tractor from his boss and the tiller thingy from his neighbor. At about 8:15 he came up to the room and was like, "Did you hear that thing?" I replied, "Ah, no Bud, I was sleeping." Then he proceeds to talk to Zabe (who was in bed with me, awake) like he of course is 12, saying, "Should we go see the tractor? You wanna go for a ride?"
So outside we go. I don't think I, in my whole like have ever gotten up and went outside so quick. Either has Zabe in his short life. I think the whole time we were out there he was wondering what the heck was going on and what the hurry was to get up and out there so fast. As you can see in the pictures Bud dressed Zabe in his John Deere shirt. He must have wanted Zabe to know that John Deere is the "real" tractor. Who knows.
How cute is that?
Bud loving it of course. Zabe is still wondering what the heck happened and why we were outside so fast.
Don't you just wish you could read Bud's mind??? Zabe was trying to take over the wheel.
Our backyard. I mean our garden. Seriously it can't get much bigger. Saturday night we went out for supper and got Bud's seeds for the garden. Carrots, potatoes, cucumbers, onions, & radishes. The tomatoes, and peppers are coming I guess.
Ha, Ha, Ha, Bud will try and tell you that I wanted this little flower garden and in all do respect to my husband. It was his idea. Last year we planted some very nice sunflowers in our garden and this year he said they weren't going in there. So this morning Bud says, "Hon, you want a little flower garden? I think right back here should do." "Ok, Bud, whatever you think." I just do want some backyard for our children to be able to run and play. Cracks me up. He loves the outdoors. And he loves these gardens. Good thing because I am not much of a green thumb. All that bending, pulling weeds, dirty, dirty hands. Ish.

I think I should send Holden down to live with you. He has made his own little garden in the back yard, and tonight he wrote down what he wanted to plant in his garden. so we went to Lowes, and picked up some seeds and dirt, we're going to start a few in the house. wish us luck. it's such a rush growing something yourself like that. I love a huge garden also. I'm sure Dad would be proud of all of his kids, we all have big beautiful gardens, well Bud you have a field! :) LOL
