MOMMA'S BOY

I have been kind of a slacker lately getting on here. I have been on a couple of times to write and Zabe has needed my attention. Today Z had a good day, just a few cat naps that were not very long at all, so he was pretty fussy for a little bit, but now he is knocked out and probably will be...hopefully for the night. He has been doing extremely well at going to bed between 9:00 - 9:15 lately, and wakes at about 3 ish to eat. I don't think he is that hungry when he wakes up then but just wants to know there is still going to be milk there when he wakes up the next time. Hopefully he figures that out soon and sleeps all night. He is up only for about 10-20 minutes when he wakes during the night. I nurse him and then he is right back out. This am he was up at 2:00 ate for about 2 minutes and then was up again at 4ish to eat for a little longer. Then slept till 8. So fine with me but I like it best when he is up around 3 or 4 eats good then sleeps till 8. But hey, if everything went my way it wouldn't be as fun. Zabe and I had a busy day today, we had a couple haircuts this AM then started again at 4 and got done around 8. We got some cleaning done around the house, and I finally got under the sink cleaned out and organized. I made a loaf of bread tonight because I was craving french toast, but when I went to make it we didn't have any eggs. erhhh. I was so mad, homemade bread for french toast!!!! My mouth is still watering thinking about it.

Cute but Sad story. On Sunday night I wanted to run to my mom and dads quick so I left Z home with Bud. I was gone about 45 minutes. When I got home, bud was like, "He has been crying since you left." (at this time he was sitting in his swing just fine) So I walked over to him and started talking to him of course asking him what the matter was so on and so on. His eyes were soooo red, never have I seen him like that. He just doesn't cry usually unless he is hungry, tired ect. So as I am talking to him his bottom lip comes out like he is going to cry again, he did that like 3 times. (I am at the time taking him out of the swing.) So I picked him up and sat down with him and he all of a sudden just starts smiling and cooing like crazy. It was seriously like he was just telling me what had happened. But he was soooo smiley. It was probably the cutest/saddest thing that I have seen him do. Not to sure what his deal was, but he sure got over it quick. I think he may be a mommas boy!!!

This whole tooth thing is still just so crazy. I cannot believe my 11 week old son has a tooth. I did some ready about it and it does say that some children are even born with teeth, but most of the time babies start teething around 10 wks to 12 months. But on average they are about 7 months. So Z is ahead of the crowd by about 4 months. I think like Emily said, he is going to keep his mom and dad on their toes. Fine for me I always like a little excitement. I think he also is going to be (hopefully) a tough boy. He has not been crabby, or drooling or coughing or anything I had no clue. THANK GOD!! He has been having his hands in his mouth a lot lately but I just thought he had discovered his hands and liked sucking on them. Just last week I joked to Bud that maybe he was teething because he had been sucking on his fingers so much, and Bud was like, "yeah right, he's not even 3 months old!!" I was totally only kidding and just wanted to hear what Bud would say. And to think he really was teething.

We are off to bed, we have a very busy day tomorrow. Lots of hair to be done!!!! Goodnight.
